It IS Possible to Reduce the Stress of Modern Living
And it’s probably the #1 thing you can do for your health and happiness. In this video, I offer four key tips to reducing your daily stress load:
- Take yourself out of isolation—which includes internet isolation. Touch your screen or keyboard less; touch others more!
- Focus on the positive. Sometimes that means reframing a situation. If you’re stuck in traffic, take the time to listen to soothing music or a book on tape. Remind yourself, that at least you’ll get there!
- Improve your diet. Poor diet can actually cause depression. Feed your brain the omegas—the good fats, salmon, walnuts—it needs!
- Value yourself. You can’t be any good to others if you’re not first.
