Organic Turkey Scramble: One Way to Eat Your Water…Deliciously!

In this 6-minute Healing Quest video, I briefly explain why it’s so important to “eat your water,” and then I demonstrate one of the many ways you can eat your water—simply and deliciously—with this colorful, flavorful organic turkey scramble.

As I explain in my book, The Water Secret, hydration is essential to overall health, as well as appearance, because water is the foundation of the cell. Remember how plump your cells were as a toddler! Young adults, too, typically have plump, hydrated skin cells, even when their body weight is ideal.

Eating your water is preferable to drinking it, because your cells can absorb the water more readily when it’s consumed slowly, rather than by glugging a tall glass. Plus, your cells can retain the water you give them when your diet includes healthy fats and amino acids to keep the cell membranes strong.

Maintaining cell membranes requires a diet high in healthy fats and amino acids. In this recipe, these ingredients are supplied by olive oil, eggs, turkey, lentils, and walnuts. We get more flavor and nutrition by adding antioxidant- and water-rich organic vegetables—spinach, broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes.

I like to experiment with seasonings. In this recipe I use Indian curry, turmeric, chili powder, and cayenne—all of which add flavor, but no salt.

Sauté the veggies; add the scrambled eggs, lentils, turkey, and walnuts; season to taste; and in a matter of minutes, your meal is served!

Try this recipe for breakfast and it will last you all morning. Or, whip it up as a tasty and balanced lunch or dinner.

You’ll find many other great recipes in The Water Secret.

To your health!
