It IS Possible to Reduce the Stress of Modern Living

And it’s probably the #1 thing you can do for your health and happiness. In this video, I offer four key tips to reducing your daily stress load:

  1. Take yourself out of isolation—which includes internet isolation. Touch your screen or keyboard less; touch others more!
  2. Focus on the positive. Sometimes that means reframing a situation. If you’re stuck in traffic, take the time to listen to soothing music or a book on tape. Remind yourself, that at least you’ll get there!
  3. Improve your diet. Poor diet can actually cause depression. Feed your brain the omegas—the good fats, salmon, walnuts—it needs!
  4. Value yourself. You can’t be any good to others if you’re not first.
